Summary of Profile

Dr. Engr. C.A. Fapohundaobtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering from University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria) in 1985, bagged his Master of Applied Science (M. A. Sc.) Civil Engineering from University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada in 1992, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, 2014. He is a member of Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Member, African Engineering Education Association (AEEA). Dr. Fapohunda has worked for a wide variety of private, public and governmental organisations in teaching, research, construction and consulting. His teaching career has taken him to many institutions including Caleb University, Imota Lagos, Department of Building, Osun State College of Technology, Building Technology Department,Esa-Oke , University of Toronto,Civil Engineering Department (Research Assistant), The Polytechnic Ibadan Civil Engineering Department, and The Polyconsult.

Research Interests;

  1. Structural behavior of construction materials

  2. Development of new and economical structural materials.

  3. Application of the concept of nano-science and nano-technology to the development and arrangement of materials for structural use.
